What is Direct to Garment Printing?

As the name of this process suggests, Direct to Garment printing or DTG printing is a process that involves printing your design directly to the t-shirt with the combination of a fluid based adhesive and the technology of a direct to garment digital printer.

With the use of waterbased eco-friendly inks, we are able to achieve complete multicolour prints, without the stress of having to pay per colour of the design - such as traditional methods such as screen printing and vinyl printing, as these methods were restricted to one colour at a time.

Unlike the DTF method however, this process only works on cotton garments.

With this method, the inks and adhesive solution used to bond the prints to the garments are able to produce high quality prints, with a very soft touch, as the print interlocks with the fabric weaves.
