What is Direct to Film Printing?
Direct to Film printing or DTF printing is a process that involves printing your design directly onto a film and then transferring from that film to a T-shirt using a heat-press mechanism.
With the use of waterbased eco-friendly inks, we are able to achieve complete multicolour prints, without the stress of having to pay per colour of the design - such as traditional methods such as screen printing and vinyl printing, as these methods were restricted to one colour at a time.
Unlike the DTG method, which only works on cotton fabrics, the DTF printing method can work on cotton, polyester, nylon and even denim garments.
With this method, the inks and adhesive used to bond the prints to the garments hold a very high stretch capability, allowing the print to have high durability without showing any signs of stress cracks, peels or breaks in the image.
